Teach high school students in an after-school program how to think and write critically about theater. Designed curriculum to instruct students how to write and perform personal monologues. Program twice nominated for National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards.

The Warrior Writing Intensive

Devised intensive program incorporating improvisational techniques and Core Energetics therapeutic principles to elicit authentic emotional response and overcome fear of writing taboo or unfamiliar subjects. Designed playful and provocative exercises to move participants through self-imposed hurdles and inhibitions to generate brave new work.

New York Theatre Workshop, Mind the Gap

Conducted intergenerational writing workshops designed to bring together participants of different age groups to write a play based on someone else’s story with respect and understanding, gain insights into their own lives and make meaning of their personal narrative.  Plays performed for an invited audience.

Girl Be Heard, NYC

Developed and taught curriculum for nationally recognized organization, using theater to empower young women to become socially confident leaders able to explore their own challenging circumstances.  Pieces performed for invited audiences.

Led day-long workshop for NYC residents of varied backgrounds mixing current events with personal narratives for creative expression.

Theatre Askew Youth Program

Worked collaboratively with LGBTQ youth to devise two plays based on personal experiences with homelessness and prejudice, which were performed for their communities.
