AMANDINE
The story of a girl born in rural France who lives and dies a man in Paris. Amandine is a singular love story, inspired by the memoirs of Herculine Barbin, a 19th century intersex person whose writing was discovered years later by famed author Michel Foucault. Amandine’s struggle is ours: to be accepted for who we are, as we are.
